Motor Controller

Small Orange came with a resistive motor controller, meaning that at anything other that full speed, power is wasted, reducing range and making more frequent charging necessary. The answer is an electronic speed controller that maintains excellent efficiency at all speeds. Curtis is a good manufacturer and the 1205 model 400A controller seems to be the ideal solution. Picked one up on eBay for $229

Years after your post, but might you have more information on your upgrades? I have a; Nordskog/Cushman/Nordco/Westinghouse, Model 150/Marketeer/Loadster 36v cart and would like to upgrade the controller (all electrics other than motor) and could use some direction.
