Welding - The fun begins...

Spent last weekend at The Crucible in Oakland, CA - was taking an exploring welding class with fellow DeMentha campmates Deccy & Karim. We covered stick, TIG, MIG and OA welding and cutting. Great fun:-) Big thanks to the upbeat & knowledgeable instructors - Jim, Brian & Lisa!

MIG seems the most useful for the MV project so am signing up for the follow-on class. As birthday present to myself - picked up a 180A MIG welder at a good price on eBay - it's in the mail:-)

Motivation Restored!

Wow, it's been almost 2 years since I've worked on or thought about this project. Well, I'm just back from this years burn, awesome time at DeMentha and my motivation to tackle the MV project is well and truly restored:-) Just need to gather some $$$ together, take a welding class and we'll get this puppy moving.
